With two of spring's top trends, floral- (BCBG, Marni, Dries Van Noten) and sportswear-inspired looks (Prada, Tommy Hilfiger, Balenciaga) dominating the runways, it's no surprise that we're seeing a mashup of the two looks.

Pairing a traditionally masculine item with something instinctively feminine is what makes this trend feel fresh. Christopher Kane's digital-floral print on a fleece-lined sweatshirt adds an edgy touch to a wardrobe basic. Forever 21 did a playful take on the tennis skirt with its elasticized striped waistband and coral flowers, and Dries Van Noten's slouchy double tank with bouquet of tulips is the ultimate in laid-back cool. All of course too chic to be wasted going to the gym.
